I like it
Use the grill couple times now and I like it so far! The assemble is intuitive, and it is light weight for in and out of the shed. I particularly like the dual charcoal pan, left and right. I refil the charcoal at the same time, but I can adjust the height independently for different temperature for slow cook chicken vs high heat thin meat. The over all cooking surface is large!! I was able to cook 30 oysters at the same time to serve my family party on July 4. The foldable side table has plenty of space for cooking utensils and spices.

Best grill ever !!!
I finally took the chance to replace my old grill for decades . This charcoal grill is a game changer . Perfect size for my large group , great functionality with the two separate grill that I can start grilling on one side and smoking for the other side.Also the seller responds quick with my questions on parts and eventually it was easy enough to assemble.Highly recommended !!!!

Awesome Grill
This grill was bought for my sweet soul mate as a gift. It does take an extra pair of hands to put it together, but was simple to do. It took about and hour to finish assembling it completely, but it has been the best ever!! Having 2 separate areas to grill works perfect!! If it’s just my honey and myself, we only use a small amount of charcoal, but when our kiddos and grandbabies are here, then we were able to use both sides to have extra cooking space!! Definitely recommend as a charcoal lovers grill!! We prefer charcoal over gas, and this grill is worth having for your home!!!

Great Functionable products
I recently got the Captiva Designs Extra Large Charcoal Grill, and it’s been awesome! With about 800 sq. inches of cooking space (505 sq. inches for grilling and 289 sq. inches for warming), it’s perfect for big parties and small family BBQs. The two adjustable charcoal trays make it super easy to control the heat, and the foldable side tables are great for holding all your BBQ tools and food. Plus, they double as handles for moving the grill around. The enamel grilling racks are durable and easy to clean. Assembly takes a bit of time, but All in all, this grill is a fantastic addition to any backyard setup.

Very Flimsy
This a preliminary review. I just put it together, haven’t cooked anything yet. Let me tell you, this is flimsy as hell!My computer case is feels stronger than this. I say this because I bought cheaper charcoal grills with better quality than this one. For just over $300 I expected a bit more. In the picture you can see where the charcoal sits. It is thin, really thin. I don’t think it will last long at all.The 3 stars are because of the features it has, and the size.If you are like me that does bbqs every now and then, no problem. But this this will not las if you grill a lot.Edit 1: I was presently surprised with the functionality of this grill. It was the reason I bough it in the first place. The front doors allow easy access to the coal. Super easy to control the heat by raising or lowering the platform that holds the coal. We’ll see how it holds.

Better Than Expected
For starters, this is by no means a competition grill. The metal is thin, with that said, I was surprised on how well the grill held it’s temperature. On the initial burn I heated up the grill to 250, it held that temp for 2 hours. I then raised temp to 350, same thing, held the temp just fine. 400 degrees, same thing.Assembly was not hard, one person can do it, just take your time making sure you are using the correct hardware. It would be helpful if two people were available when inserting the charcoal grates but not necessary. The porcelain grilling grates are lightweight. I will be replacing the grates. I like the feature of adding charcoal easily and being able to raise and lower the charcoal grates. If I get 3 years out of this grill I will call it a good buy. Be sure to apply a light coat of canola, or some other high heat oil, to protect the metal surfaces.

Most Pieces were bent and wouldn’t allign correctly
So, I read the reviews that are most recent before making my purchase as most of us should do. No one really noted anything about the issue I faced. Most of the pieces, the Grill Top, the bolts, the Grill Cooking Grates, the smoker vent lids, these all had issues with being dinged up and banged to the point where when the grill was assembled fully it wouldn’t close. Not only would it not close fully, but the smoke could not be regulated and the top Rack Grill Grate keeps falling out when you open and close the grill. It would be great for the price were it not for the fact that too many pieces are just not good. I bought the 4 year Warranty because I like to take precaution. The Grill Grates are also low quality and will probably start to crack after the first few cleanings so be aware as the chips may touch the food. You can note this from the Ash tray. The instructions are not very clear as there are no words and only photos. You just need to follow along and make sure you have the pieces slotted the same as the photo. I wouldn’t recommend this grill personally. May just be easier to go to Home Depot or Wal-Mart even.Pros:-Looks decent when not using it-Ash collector on bottom-Smoke stack is nice-Hooks on sides are goodCons:-Warehouse definitely stomps these things-Low quality grates-Material will wear down fast-grates are difficult to clean as they chip away almost immediately.

Needs more clear assembly instructions.
Haven’t cooked yet but my suggestion is that it would be SO HELPFUL to have clearer illustrations to show how to assemble it. All the parts should be labeled, not just the legs. A video would help.That said, it’s finally assembled, looking forward to cooking with it!Update: first try = delicious hamburgers and chicken wings. Only issue is smoke comes out between the body and the lid. Not sure what to do about that. ????Overall, happy with it!

Love it! Party must have
Just had a bbq party at home and this grill helped a lot! My family likes bbq and we used to have a small one which takes time to serve if friends come. We finally decided to buy this grill for it has large grilling area with thermometer and can also change the distance between the food and the charcoal! It is easy to assemble. The instructions are pretty clear and easy to follow. The wheels are a great feature fot it is easy to move around. My husband really loves this grill. We are going to have more partie for this large grill can serve more people at a time.

Dented. Difficult assembly.
The tray that catches the ashes was bent and won’t completely close. Some minor dents were on other parts. The box wasn’t damaged, so I don’t think it was damaged during shipping. Assembly was difficult for one person. I suggest soliciting a helper.

Instructions state 30 minutes assembly time
The instructions are clear and go step by step and are easy to follow but they say 30 minutes assembly time and it took 25 minutes to unpack everything from the box. I have put together a lot of things and know what I am doing only a hour and a half later we got it done I used it a few days later and worked great I like it how big it is.i had one about the same size it got crushed by a limb. I like the sides that will let up and down to cook faster or slower

Absolutely worth the time put it together, I have always been a fan for charcoal grill, and this grill designed amazing, the cooking fit for the whole family BBQ, temperature can adjust by lifting the handle, you can do smoke once you close the cover, easy to add more charcoal during cooking, although the cleaning Part never fun,but this machine made it easy too, we just open the door and get the dust out, and throw in the garden as fertilizer, the wheels made it easy to move around, after all the BBQ taste amazing!

Nice outdoor grill for family party
I ordered this grill to replace my old small grill which is not big enough for our family party. I just put all pieces together and the big size of the grill really fits what we need. Couldn’t wait to see how it works for our family party this coming weekend. I also like the special design which makes the heights of fires on both sides adjustable. Besides, there is a removable plate at the bottom of the grill and it makes the cleaning of grill ashes way easier than the old grill we used. Great grill
We used this grill last Saturday for a cookout we had for 26 people. The grill was large enough to cook all our food at one time. Very Impressive
I love this charcoal grill so much!! First of all, charcoal grill always smell better than propane ones. Second, this charcoal grill offers eveything i need. It has decent quality and simple design. The huge grill is able to accomendate 20 people at least. I love the venting feature and ability to raise the charcoal up and down which is the key to not have burned food.

It’s ok but not good enough
I bought this grill for my family Christmas party. First of all this grill is heavy duty. But the box was damaged, lucky no part was missing. It took me one hour to install it. The cover is deformation so it’s not well sealed. It’s worth the money I think they can pack the grill better.

Easy to set up and smart design
Last week, after the grill arrived, I couldn’t wait to set it up. Despite the heavy snow, I was determined to try it out on my balcony over the weekend.The assembly was incredibly straightforward, taking roughly 20 minutes to complete. The grill’s design is ingenious and convenient. It features foldable side shelves on both sides of the main body, which can hold grilling tools, seasonings, and food. Inside the grill, the charcoal rack can be adjusted up and down to regulate the heat, a very handy feature. The lid of the grill has a built-in thermometer for accurately gauging the internal temperature. Additionally, there’s a smoke outlet on the top of the grill. For maintenance, the bottom tray of the grill can be pulled out directly for easy disposal of charcoal ash.Overall, for its price range, this grill is an excellent choice both in terms of appearance and functionality. It would be perfect if it came with a waterproof cover.

This grill is very versatile
This grill is very versatile and offers a lot of flexibility in its use. For the price, the materials are excellent. With proper care, it will last for years. I personally installed firebricks on each charcoal platform, which not only protects the platforms (the most affected part) but also helps reflect heat upward. Additionally, nothing beats charcoal. Gas is convenient, but charcoal is charcoal, and this grill performs fantastically. The picture was taken before I installed the firebricks; I was using two Weber charcoal baskets at the time. Due to the size of the grill and the fact that it has two charcoal platforms, it provides an ideal environment for indirect grilling.

The grill arrived in great shape. All parts were well-packed. The instructions were easy to follow and everything lined up. Installing the adjustable grate trays presented a little challenge, but using the shipping box as a support solved this small issue.The only small negative is that there is no dedicated handle on the non-wheeled side to help when relocating the grill.

Dented and misaligned parts.
I was so excited when I ordered this grill for my sister and brother-in-law. They live out in the country and they love to cook out, so I thought this would be great for them. However, when they received the grill, the box was all damaged and several areas of the girll were dented. The lid of the grill won’t close all the way. One side seems to stay open a crack while the other side sits flush with the bottom. They grill itself seems very flimsy and it doesn’t seem to be made out of good quality materials. They haven’t cooked with it yet, but I will never purchase a grill from this seller again.I have pictures that I will attempt to upload later.UPDATE: After I posted the original review, the seller contacted to offer solutions to the problems I had encountered. They were very patient as we spent a few days going back and forth. First, they tried to offer me ways to fix the problems with the item. After I tried them and they didn’t work, the seller came up with another solution. We continued this back and forth until we were able to come up with a solution that worked for us both. They were very helpful and very considerate throughout the process, so I upped my rating from a 1* to a 3*.

Very like the purchase
The media could not be loaded.
The BBQ area is very large, our Party of 11 people can eat happily. There is two carbon POTS can separately control the height of the carbon fire and there is a full-size tray at the bottom, it is very convenient to clean. There is a dent on the lid during transportation, but it does not affect the use.

Love it. I can’t wait to use it for July 4th
The instructions to setup were straightforward, very clear instructions provided! It comfortably accommodates a group of six or more, making it perfect for gatherings. In addition, it is surprisingly easy to maneuver and not as heavy as it appears. The design is both practical and efficient, incorporating all necessary features in one compact unit. I am looking forward to using it for July 4th celebrations!
