This is the second Magnum Grill that I have owned. I got seven years of service out of the first one and quite honestly it was still working however, it was a smaller version. This new grill is large enough that you can put four hamburgers and a couple hotdogs or sausages , and the heat is evenly distributed. It has a nice feature that I appreciate is this has a drip pan, whereas my older magnum did not so I don’t have any grease dripping onto the deck of my boat.We easily spend 8 to 10 hours on the boat when we’re out and having the ability to grill food instead of eating at a restaurant on the water, greatly saves money and the convenience of being able to eat what you want.

Bought this to replace an older Magma grill that had to be lit by hand and was almost impossible to light if there was any wind. The igniter works with one push and the temperature control is a lot more sensitive, love it.

4 years later and I have had tro replace this unit due to the florida weather. It sits on my back covered deck, with the cover on it. BUt it still rusted out. I replaced the original grill grates, and then had to replace the whole box due to rust.It is a nice unit but not for coastal areas or Florida.Bought this to go with my Camp Chef Somerset 4- Burner BBQ Cart, it worked wonderfully. We did steaks the other night and they were great! I look forward to many years of using this product.

Great BBQ Box! I’ve had my share of dedicated propane barbecues, and I can say that the Camp Chef BBQ Box not only keeps up with them, I have to make sure I don’t turn the heat up past medium. This grill surface gets very hot, with a nice even heat. I have a camp chef Denali 3x with 30k BTU burners. That’s a 60k BTU BBQ! I was expecting hot spots, and the need to pick up some diffuser plates and I found that was not needed. I have a modest outdoor kitchen, and I find myself going to this more often than not. Both my hardwood cooker and my charcoal bbq have been collecting dust.The cast Iron grates for cooking leave a VERY nice grill pattern on steaks, chicken, even whole rock fish and veggies. Spray with olive oil after cooking….I heard the comments about possible rust problems, I spray mine with an olive oil mister. I’m also not a big fan of stainless steel, so I sprayed my stainless top with Dupli-color high temp engine paint (Ford Red). After curing with the BBQ at a few hundred degrees for a half hour it’s rock solid.I would recommend this product, seller shipped as promised.

Best option for using your Camp Chef stove as a grill! I love how even and hot this gets, seers the meat and seals in the juices unlike my old propane grill which I just gave away! I have the Denali Pro 3x and this was a great addition, now I can use 2 burners with this BBQ box and 1 burner is free which I use for heating sauce or boiling corn, etc… I did have to seasoning it a few times even though it already was before it was stick free. Now it’s a champ!

We took this on our last camping trip. Nine days in the Eastern Sierras. It held up quite well. We grilled chicken and steaks, and a few burgers. It heated evenly and quickly. Cleaning was easy as well. It’s been a fine addition to our RV’s outside kitchen equipment. I recommend it.

This thing heats up fast. I can get nice grill marks on my meat and veggies with this BBQ box. It’s smaller but cooks so much better than my $600 BBQ grill. It’s a bit heavy to carry around but if you can drive to your camping spot then it’s great for camping.

Works very well. Holds temp well and flare ups wasn’t until I had been cooking for about 8 hours when doing consessions. That is after a lot of Hamburgers, Hotdogs, and Bratwurst!

Works great, folds up great, very well made. I bought others that fell short of expectations. This one has not, fits under my camper and I use it in my back yard also. Buy this one if you are one the fence, worth the extra money to buy a good one.

Love this thing. I just wish I knew that it was coming in a box that shows exactly what’s inside because it was a Christmas gift for my husband and it totally ruined the surprise 3 weeks too early.

Had a Q series before this. Was worried about trying a different model as the Q series are honestly solid. Can’t go wrong with this.-Folds down real nice and easy.-Doesn’t feel flimsy at all.-As even heat as my Weber Q series, so you know it’s solid.-Grate splits in two sections when pulling it out. Doesn’t look like it’s two pieces, in the sense that it isn’t flimsy.

I received the Weber Compact traveler gas grill, I went to put the wheels together and there were missing parts for it. So, it would be too difficult for me to repackage and send it back. I called Weber and they will be sending me the parts. If it wasn’t such an ordeal, I would have sent it back.I don’t want this published, just for your information, because Webers are great grills and they were very good about it when I called.
