Good so far
Still learning how to get it up to temperature. Not sure the thermometer is correct. Made smoked salmon which turned out great. Made some chicken wings which weren’t as good as an air fryer. Bought for mainly unique taste of smoked salmon and that will be its use purpose. Definitely buy a small coal chimney to get coals hot and fill it to the brim to get to a proper baking temperature.

Great Little Table Top Cooker
After buying 1 of these and trying it out, we had to have a second one for our place in Florida. They are a great little table top cooker. Can cook a couple ribeyes or up to 4 burgers at a time. Takes a little trial and error to get it up to searing temps the first couple times. So if you don’t mind handling a little charcoal (jealous devil the way to go), this little cooker is a great way to go.

Good quality but a little small
Very pleased with this ceramic grill. I build the leading Kamado grills for my local hardware store and I really don’t see much difference in the product quality. I have cooked on it several times now and it works perfectly. However, tonight I cooked two 1/3 pound pub burgers and there was not much room for anything else. If you are cooking for one or two I think you will love it. Wish the orange color had been available.

Petit et efficace
Parfait pour 4 boulettes de hamburger, pas plus. Chauffe rapidement avec le couvercle ouvert et saisis bien la viande à haute température. Je m’en sert aussi avec une poèle en fonte. C’est parfait pour les petites quantités.

Wonderful grilling experience! Small grilling space
If you are just two, this grill is perfect! Will even smoke over slow coals for longer cuts of meat. But f you are looking to invite the whole family plus the in-laws over, you will not all eat at the same time. Some will have to wait until midnight…

Bad Quality
This is a great sized little bbq but that’s as far as it goes. The round grilling grate is of very poor quality. The heat burns off the coating and little pieces are left on your food. I have no idea why they didn’t choose to do a cast iron grate or something that you don’t have to coat – seems stupid – I surely must not be the only person to have this issue. I have requested a replacement and have been ignored. Very disappointing.

Well constructed, sturdy, beautiful glaze on the outside. Works very well after a couple of practice runs before cooking anything . Temperature control is precise once getting used to it. You won’t be cooking for an army on it, but that’s the point. One or two person grill, the charcoal flavor is where it’s at! Enjoy!Very hefty for its size, I think it weighs about 50 +/- lbs. , but that also shows the quality of it. Some minor assembly required. Not bad. Recommend to the die hard charcoal grillers who love to try some new grilling/smoking techniques, and dip their toe into an affordable Kamado style cooker. And it uses a lot less charcoal than my vertical box smoker!

It’s small, but that’s perfect
I use this to sear 1-2 steaks for dinner. Don’t get me wrong, it’s small. Like really small. But sometimes that’s okay. I’m not the type to leave grill grates greasy for weeks before my next cook, and i appreciate the small grill grates so I can wash them in my kitchen sink vs scrape them down.

Nice grill but…..
I cannot seem to find accessories. This is the newest version and most every accessories are for older versions. If you are looking for the hinged grill top this does not have it. I watched many YouTube videos and not many videos on this newer version as it is much different design. Don’t know what the brackets are with bolts that are on the side. Grill top just sits on ceramic. I was worried about it moving around while cooking but did not seem to be a issue after my one cook of hamburgers and hot dogs. Cooks fast when temperatures hit 400 beware.After cooking at 400 closed vents. It took roughly 1 1/2 hours to cool to 100 degrees. Then opened lid a coal seemed to be out and it cooled to 0 soon after. Ceramic holds heat well. If anyone can tell where to buy a deflector for this newer Model please let me know.

Nice little grill but…
Grill very nice packaged. When assembling some screws were under felt so could not get as tight as I would have liked. The top air vent I do have issues with. First, when I lite fire there was bubbling in the paint at the top air vent where it was hottest. Second, I will need to add washers to the fittings as when I open the lid any settings will be lost as it is too sloppy. Third is problem adding charcoal to the fire you will need a pair of pliers to lift the grill. I wish they included a tool to do this. Overall else this seems to be a good grill but small at only 10″ cooking area. I will manage though.

Top vent, circular piece that holds in place was broken. Can I get a replacement part? Packaging was great, except there was another metal piece in the same slot not wrapped and was damaged…

Very Nice Grill
In my opinion this is one great cooking grill that I can appreciate. This grill is diminitive in height, but it cooks like a big grill. Everything about this grill is quality manufactured. It’s designed for 1 or 2 people for outdoor cooking. On the patio, deck, camping, tailgating, or just about anywhere. This Kamado Jr grill is very heavy and cumbersome to move around. However there are so many great qualities that this grill has, that you will overlook the weight of this grill. I love the way this grill cooks your meat. It cooks very evenly, thoroughly and fast. I highly recommend anyone to give this Sunshine Kamado Joe Jr grill a try. You won’t regret anything about this grill. I love this grill. ❤️

Funciona de maravilla para una pareja o maximo 4 personas, ya que la parrilla es pequeña y no le cabe mucho. Le caben 3 hamburguesas de buen tamaño, o 2 Rib Eyes, o 1 Picaña, o 1 Pollo entero. Si vas a hacer una comida/cena para mas de 4 personas esta no es tu opción.

I just received my new London Sunshine BBq. Some very easy assembly required. The instruction for assembly are well written and easy to follow. It came with the tools to assemble and all parts are well packed in a very sturdy box. I got mine 4 days early great delivery service.If your looking for a small convenient charcoal BBq this is the one. I highly recommend this BBq.

High hopes
No matter how many fire blocks I put in the BBQ, my brickettes would not change to the gray and I couldn’t get it hot enough to BBQ anything. I even watch YouTube videos on how to prep them and a general “how to” videos. I was hoping to love this product but I don’t ..

Excellent BBQ! Well made. I have been using it every day since I bought it. Everything turn out very delicious. I have a big charcoal BBQ, but use it when I have guests. This small one is good for 2-4 people. I would definitely recommend this BBQ to everyone. Recommend to use lump charcoal and electric fire starter. For the beginners watch some videos how to use it, so your food will be cooked properly.

Great small smoker. Used it for camping for 2 people. This is a very small smoker so read the product description before buying….Still can do 3 frozen burgers or 3 good size pork chops at once. Uses very little charcoal. Got it to 500 degrees in short order to sear/cook steaks. It got lots of stares/positive comments from neighbors. Feels very solid at just under 50lbs Easy to carry around. Gasket is very high quality. Easy to control top and bottom air. Love this small smoker…..

This is an awesome grill/smoker! I’ve cooked on it three times already in the first week. I cooked cedar plank salmon, chicken leg quarters, and these ribs that you’ll see in the video. I like it so much, I purchased another one for a dear friend. This grill went way beyond my expectations!

Missing parts, rats. But I really like it
Giving it just two stars, the side handles were missing. Thought I would update this bbq. Cooks really good, didn’t notice the fire box must line up with the air vents. Heat did not get to sear. Now with it aligned all is good. Checked a few photos on line and it seems a lot of them don’t show the side handles. I’m happy with this Lil guy so I give an extra star!

Very easy to put together. ???? The product looks great . Works like the Green egg. Check videos as you control the heat level with the top and bottom vents. Love it and will use it a lot. Have used a ceramic bbq before and they produce the best taste in all you bbq.

Great little BBQ…glaze is thicker than other knock offs. Easy to assemble..Fasteners are stainless which should be a minimum in BBQs…. make sure to check the bubble wrap for the bolt that connects the frame..I almost missed it

Tout petit et pas trop lourd.
On a fait quelques tests avec des steaks, des légumes et du porc. Attention ! C’est petit mais ça cuit vite et bien. Le premier steak était d’une belle couleur mais un peu trop cuit. Parfait pour 2 personnes.

Good design and well made. They have put in thoughts in this little kamado. Ceramic is thick and heavy enough to last long time. The grille is heavy duty stainless steel. Amazed that the two sides handles actually have a steel or rod between the lock screws for lifting. Happy purchase

Nice, But read full description, not a real 13 inch grill this is outside diameter
Looks to be a good grill, have not used it yet.Having bought these types of grills before, I made the mistake of thinking 13 inch would mean 13 inch cooking area, and did not notice the line at the bottom of the description that says 11 inch grill.This cannot accommodate more than an 11 inch grill, I do not know that they mean by 13 inch tray,For reference the second picture is of my 13.5 inch grill purchased from Home Depot a few years ago. It is sold as a 13.5 inch charcoal BBQ and has a 13.5 inch grate.I think this will be a good grill for the price, I just believe the description is a little bit misleading and the 11 inch grill size should have been more pronounced.
